You may even get a chance to see Woody Woodpecker himself on stage with some of his friends. Actually Woody is all over the place in KidZone. There are several areas where you can spot Woody and take a quick picture.

Animal Planet Live

Animal Planet Live

There's no doubt about it, the world is going to the dogs (and cats and birds and pigs and orangutans) at Universal Studios. Animal Actors On Location! is your chance to see some of the most talented stars from movies and television perform without a script… which is not surprising, because animals can't read!

This show is a MUST SEE for animal lovers. The show uses animals rescued from local shelters that are subsequently trained for work in television and films.

The show highlights how animals are trained, and provides one of the most unique and entertaining live shows in Orlando. This is an open air, under cover amphitheater, and is a good attraction to hit when you need a break or when you're done with everything else.

Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster

Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster

It’s the nuttiest ride you’ve ever seen! Woody definitely proved he’s got a few screws loose when he designed Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster®, a kid-sized roller coaster that’s still fun for all ages!

A very tame coaster designed for children. Woody has pieced together the track with bits and pieces of wood, in what makes for a well themed, and seemingly enjoyable children’s ride.

It's a short ride (less than 90 seconds), and the line can get rather long. However, this is a welcome addition to KidZone and goes a long way in helping make Universal more "kid-friendly".

E.T. Adventure

E.T. Adventure

E.T.'s homeworld, the Green Planet, is dying. Only E.T. has the power to save it... and only YOU can bring him there.

This attraction was one that was personally supervised by Steven Spielberg. You ride on a "bicycle" (complete with ET in the front basket) in an effort to get ET back to the green planet to save his friends.

The plot follows the movie rather well, and attention to detail (both in the queuing area, and on the ride) are superb, if not a bit dated now that it’s been more than 20 years since the film's initial release.

Nonetheless, it remains a popular attraction and the lines can be long. One word of caution though. When you arrive at ET, don't be misled by the line out front. First, you wait outside, you are brought into a holding area to watch a brief film with Steven Spielberg, then you are put into an indoor queuing area. Even though the indoor queuing area is themed perfectly, the wait can be extreme.

Fievel's Playland

Fievel's Playland

Based on one of the most popular animated characters of all time, Fievel's Playland gives you a mouse-eye view of the world of that lovable immigrant from the old country, Fievel Mousekewitz.

In other words, everything is oversized.  A variety of slides, tunnels and play areas are creatively woven into the theme.  Kids can play, and get wet (so bring bathing suits). This section is primarily designed for young kids (preschoolers) although certain sections do allow for any age.

A Day In The Park With Barney

A Day In The Park With Barney

Join the world's most popular purple dino-star, Barney, in his Super-Dee-Duper™ attraction — A Day in the Park with Barney.

This show allows kids to sing along with all of Barney's favorite songs! Following the show, children have a chance to meet the big purple dinosaur himself and explore Barney's backyard, which features a tree house, musical stepping stones, and a train.

Curious George Goes To Town

Curious George Goes To Town

Someone's let all the circus animals out of their trailer and turned the whole town upside down. What has that mischievous monkey gotten himself into this time? We're talking about Curious George® of course, and you can join him on his adventures. Follow George's footsteps as a series of colorful storybooks highlight the pathways and add to the charm that is the Curious George book series.

This interactive playground for children lets visitors cool off while getting wet. Visitors can play with water soaked balls and throw them at their friends.  You will get wet.

KidZone Trolley Character Meet and Greet

This attraction is a great opportunity for children to meet their favorite Universal characters.
